    @naureennoni I always recommend going for the kit lens if it’s your first DSLR – they’re pretty good. Then if you find it restricitve in the future, you can buy a new one.

    ok i’am deffinetly not buying a seprate lens since they’re expensive and i have no idea about lens. i’am buying t1i kit. do you think its fine to buy the kit for someone like me who NEVER did photography in life or should i really REALLY need to buy seperate, better and expensive lens??

    @Whatisright It depends on the people, depends on the sound. I myself am very annoyed by the auto-focusing sound on my Canon EF 35mm f/2, but not at all by the one on my EFS 18-55mm IS (standard kit lens for 450D)

    Thank you for lifting my spirits about buying with kit lens. I was ready to take it back for a body only. I’ll just hang onto it while shopping for others. Still makes my T2i look great. Especially for a novice like myself.
