		<description>Well I can&#039;t tell you which is the &quot;best&quot;, because ultimately, it all comes down to preference. Different cameras for different things and people. I also must add that, the quality of the pictures depends not just on the camera, but the person behind the lens. You can go down to Ritz Camera and choose their most expensive, seemingly top-of-the-line camera, but if you&#039;re just plain horrible at taking pictures, the camera won&#039;t help any. =o)&lt;br /&gt;

However, I think the most recent Canon EOS (SLR) camera released is the Rebel XSi. As for the most recent PowerShot cameras, I believe there are a handful. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Best thing you can do is look at the cameras they have to offer, compare them and pick out the one that best suits your needs.&lt;br /&gt;
